Artist's notes:  I did this painting as a tribute to the hot rod icon that started it all for me.  "John Milner" played by actor Paul LeMat in the movie "American Graffiti".  I was 10 years old the first time I saw the movie and from there on it was all about cars for me.  

I met Paul at a car show in 1999, so I wanted more than ever to do this painting that honored that special place in everyone's home town where they went to race.  Signed by artist and Paul LeMat.
