"'48 Panhead"
'48 Panhead was painted by Scott Jacobs in 1994 and just finished in time to take to Daytona that year. It was only the fourth Harley-Davidson painting that Scott had done. He sold the original to a private collector at Daytona. Scott had always wanted to make a print edition of this image but needed the original to do so. Nor did he have a record of the collector's name that purchased the original. Out of the blue, in November 2004, the collector contacted Scott about an unrelated matter. Scott was able to borrow the original to make a small limited edition print run.
'48 Panhead is a classic Jacob's realism piece with the killer reflections in the chrome - a painting within a painting reflecting the headlight.
