interest in Sara Liberte's Photography and in particular her Women and
Machine Series.
“Women and
Machine” is Sara’s Fine Art series that combines images of women with
motorcycle components. The Women’s figure is photographed
separately from the Motorcycle. In her digital darkroom Sara creates the
Image Fusion Process by combining the images. A study that started
back in 1994 “Women and Machine” is Sara’s way to express the
internal connection of women and machines. “The Motorcycle becomes and
Extension of your body” “Women and Machine” is a way to visually
express this connection.
This series is limited to an edition of 150 prints of each image on
photographic silver gelatin emulsion paper. All prints are available in 2
sizes of 16x20” or 20x30”. “Woman and Machine” was featured at the
Belknap Mill Gallery in Laconia NH for bike week 2005, as well in the
Laconia Television show “Riding with Rossi” which aired on the Travel
Channel. This series was also featured on “Corbin’s Ride On”
and American Thunder on Speed Channel and also on the Documentary DVD
titled “Invasion of the motorcycles, Laconia”.
