This new print takes you right on the floor the night before the opening of "Motorama 1953". Harley Earl gets his picture taken with the LeSabre as the last of the cars are put into place. Motorama was General Motors' automotive experience of the year. The extravaganza offers a sneak peek at the concept cars - the Oldsmobile Starfire, Pontiac Parisienne, and Buick Wildcat. This automotive gala was peppered with dream cars, entertainment, high fashion, and lavish decor. The big news of the 1953 Motorama is the introduction of the production cars. The Corvette, Buick Skylark, Oldsmobile Fiesta and Cadillac Eldorado all make their debut at the show.
"Give It Some Gas"
Size: 22" x 36"
Price: $250.00 plus $10.00 shipping Artist's Notes: "It's the summer of '74 and the end of an era. OPEC continues to put the squeeze on the gas nozzle. Sunoco 260 is up over fifty cents a gallon and those 440's and four barrel carbs drink that stuff like water. Congress is starting to talk about a national 55 mph speed limit. This new print by Dave Snyder pays homage to that era. So fill it up and "Give It Some Gas". There are places to go, people to see and things to do - let's hit the road!"

The men on the top floors of Chrysler would probably deny it, but the E-body was a purpose built muscle car. From the first pencil stroke in early 1967 the E-body was to have an engine bay that could comfortably hold the 440 and Hemis with air conditioning and power steering. Although the Plymouth Cuda and the Dodge Challenger were both E-bodies, the models were vastly different. Sharing only the cowl and windshield, the Challenger was longer and wider. The Cuda had a wheelbase three inches shorter than the Challenger's 110 inches. They were both successful on the strip and track as well as the street. High gas prices and insurance rates killed the E-body and by 1975 it was dropped from the Chrysler lineup.

If not, you are missing one of the larges annual cruise-ins in the country - and it's all Mopars. The activities are centered around the BW at the corner of Brice Road and East Green. Mopar fans line the road in both directions for miles. The Party continues until Reynoldsburg's finest call it quits when the tire smoke becomes too much. "Mike: Yes, the package arrived very quickly with time to spare before Christmas. It was a hit, they really liked it. Thanks for sending it priority, I really appreciate it."
