Two Florida girls that moved to Kansas during their college years had never met until they had graduated from separate Kansas schools;  one a Jayhawk, and one a Wildcat.  A common friend brought them together after graduation.  This has proven to have become a long, long friendship.  And with all that life can throw at you, the creation of art seems to be the thread that holds it all together.  They would meet for coffee and talk over the ideas they had for the next painting.  Sometimes Vicki would do a water color of the idea or Gail a pencil, but then came the large oil paintings and it was much more fun working on them together.  

The years of working together had proven that the end result in each artist's mind was a good thing.  They are not sure of how many artists have attempted to paint together in the past, but they do know that every time they paint in the public, they get all kinds of questions about two artist painting on the same canvas.  One man even asked if it was legal.  How crazy is that?  It is their creation from the coffee to the canvas.  It makes sense for these two girls to paint together.  They have been a team of artistic talent for a very long time.

We first met these ladies in Deadwood, South Dakota during the 70th Sturgis Rally and could see close up their artistic talent and passion for motorcycles, cars and animals - particularly horses.
