image Inspired by childhood nights under an eerie blanket of northern lights, Bernardo picked up the sculpting habit from his father. After studying at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, several apprenticeships and a stint as an employee at the prestigious Johnson Atelier, Bernardo can rightfully call himself a master craftsman with over 27 years experience. His work has been collected by such celebrities as Elton John, Stephen King, and members of the pop-rock band Blondie. Currently working on a life-size enlargement of one of his automotive pieces for a foreign collector, Bernardo continues to challenge himself and his viewers as to what the possibilities of automotive art can truly be.
